On the 9th of November Interreg North Sea Region projects Procirc and CIRC NSR joined forces and organised a webinar to showcase best practices, practical tools and case studies for organisations that are working on the transition towards a circular economy.
Public procurement can play a pivotal role stimulating the transition towards a circular economy, if organised right. Circular procurement is a relatively new topic, for which there is no one size-fits-all solution. On a daily basis project managers, procurers and contract managers are working hard to translate circular ambitions and policies towards practical, tangible and concrete projects and interventions. During this webinar, Procirc and Circ-NSR partners provided insights into their experiences with circular procurement, by presenting best practices, practical guidance and showcases.

In a region, several public sector parties are active. Each of these has its own procurement policy and focus. But to accelerate the transition to a circular economy, upscaling is needed.
