During CATCH OOWV already developed a traffic system, a ditch study and heavy rainfall hazard map. All these products and connected experiences, together with the CATCH decision support tool now serve as a basis to develop learning communities in Germany that accelerate climate change adaptation activities in several small and mid-size cities.
The efforts that OOWV and Jade Hochschule have taken in this has not been unnoticed. Recently OOWV was invited to present CATCH at several events.
At the 1st of June, Julia Oberdörffer gave a speech at the IFAT in Munich on the heavy rain hazard map and the CATH project.
The OOWV was invited for open days at three different water works at the Sundays of 12.06., 19.06. and 26.06. The project CATCH was presented to the public at all three events.
On the 20th of June, Julia Oberdörffer presented CATCH at a national meeting organised by the Federal Environmental Agency in Dessau. The name of the event in German was "Klimaresiliente Schwammstadt: Naturbasierte Konzepte und Maßnahmen als Baustein urbaner Transformation".
