DST-team visits CATCH partners in Oldenburg

13 March 2018 - Published by Manon van de Riet
From 13-15 February the Decision Support Tool team of the CATCH project was in Oldenburg to visit the OOWV.

The main reason to visit Oldenburg was to meet with our partners from the Oldenburgisch-Ostfriesische Wasserverband (Oldenburg and East Frisian Water Association, OOWV). During 1,5 days of interviews, presentations and an excursion a thorough insight is presented of the work, challenges and needs on climate adaptation of the OOWV. For the OOWV this meeting was a first concrete step in the development of the climate adaptation pilot that they will execute during the project.

During the days the universities also worked jointly on the development of the benchmark tool that will be used to assess the current state of the partner cities according to the water sensitive cities transitioning framework. Besides that, the visit to OOWV presented the DST team new insights on the specific needs of mid-size cities dealing with climate change adaptation.
