3rd CATCH partner meeting in Oldenburg

18 to 20 June the CATCH-team came together for the third time. The meeting took place in Oldenburg, Germany and was hosted by Jade University of Applied Sciences and Oldenburg and East Frisian Water Association (OOWV). The biggest focus points were optimising the DST-tool and project management activities. On the basis of the DST-tool midsize cities in the North Sea region can accelerated become climate resilient cities that are sustainable, liveable and profitable on the long term.

Meet-ups
The first day we started with project management activities like handling information about the OMS-system. Mainly important for the financial officers of each partner. The second part of the day a risk management session was held in subgroups. Day two the progress of the DST-tool was presented by the DST-team. The day ended with city bike tour hosted by OOWV and Jade University. They showed us around some areas were flooding is sometimes a problem and they showed the team lots of waterways within the city. Last meeting day the Advisory Group also joined us. They gave the DST-team some feedback regarding to the DST-tool. One of the recommendation was that the DST-tool should be a kind of guidance for midsize cities to become climate adaptive.

Continuation
The meetings ensured some input for the DST-team in order to improve the DST-tool. Also the partners gathered some information about project management and risk management to continue the project. Coming meeting will take place in September, Antwerp. This meeting the learning points of the pilots will get a central role.
