Main role in the project:
VCAB will lead work package 2, communication. The case study for this project, in the frame of climate adaptation, is to investigate the need to regulate and change hydroelectric power to meet the shifting needs of electricity due to new temperature changes during the seasons. Also, how to meet changed waterflows without the currently common spring floods. VCAB will also transfer and continue to work with the results from the INTERREG project, CATCH.
Benefit from participating in the C5A project:
VCAB aims to improve knowledge about the impact of climate change and raise awareness in the municipalities and other stakeholder groups. This project will aid to inform about the importance of a whole-of-system approach when working with climate management. As well as of climate adaptation and preventive measures and the benefit for stakeholders and encourage implementation of actions within municipalities.
