Tip: keep the information on your slide concise

Too much information on a slide is the most common mistake with PowerPoint presentations. The use of PowerPoint is to convey ideas clearly and to support the words concisely. This becomes difficult when the presentation is overloaded with sentences, numbers and statistics. Use a maximum of six bullet points and a maximum of six words per line and hand out extensive information as a separate document.
