Invitation: conference ‘Be adaptive to become resilient’ June 4th
The three projects BwN, FAIR and C5a join their forces and organize a conferenceon the upcoming 4th of June, and you can still join! The aim of the online conference “Be adaptive to become resilient” is to look backward and, more importantly, forward to tackle some of the challenges that we face, due to climate change.
“Climate change is a serious threat to existing infrastructures and we need to find new alliances and new ways to adapt to the disastrous effects. Sitting still is not an option.”
– Bart Vonk (Project manager FAIR)
The projects joining forces
The three projects FAIR, BwN and C5a aim at achieving resilience. A world where our children can live and prosper, in a system that can withstand or bend with the climate challenges that are presenting themselves already. Resilience is the common denominator for the three projects.
- FAIR adds to our knowledge by carving adaptive pathway thinking and by demonstrating improved approaches for cost-effective upgrading and maintenance; For more information, click here.
- Building with Nature provides a new way of thinking and tools to adapt assets to climate change replicating nature’s manner of solving problems; For more information, click here.
- C5a focuses on finding ways through complexity using adaptive asset management and socio-ecological resilience. For more information, click here.
