The BLINGathon was a fantastic event! Here are the winners:

The BLINGathon hackaton organized by the 14 Bling project’s partners went well! We had over 137 participants and over 30 teams working on our 4 challenges for 30 hours long. The expert jury had a tough job deciding who were the winners in the four categories of prizes, best overall, best design, most impact and the audience price. We are looking back at an amazing event.

First we are listing all winners:

Best overall: Team Greasy monkey from the transport track challenges.
Best design: Team Beevoters from the e-voting track
Most impact: Team Oldennoobs from the e-voting track
Audience price: Team Titan X from the document track

Every team presented their solution with a video pitch film of 2 minutes. Here you can find all video’s (also all the video’s from the teams who didn’t make it to the finals). There is interesting stuff there! Do take a look!

Coaches & experts & lots of workshops

We thank all the coaches and experts who did a great job getting the teams going. Several workshops were provides during the 30 hours hackathon, ‘how to win a hackathon’, ‘how to pitch’, video editing, a pubquiz, a talk about blockchain from Energyweb and more!

A key note surprise!

The expert jury consisted of 4 experts in the blockchain world. Nena Dukozov, Peter Verkoulen, Adnan Imeri and Jose Manuel Panizo Plaza. We are really thankful for their great views on the pitches and their time and effort that was put in. Read about their background here.

Victoria Gago was the keynote speaker and told us about the EBSI developments in Europe. She had a surprise for the winning teams… they get free tickets to the virtual European Blockchain Convention on 13-16 December this year. Check it out.

What is next?
