On october two BLING partners attended CordaCon, one of the biggest conferences on blockchain in the world. Jorgen Dehlin from the County Administrative Board of Skane and Leif Wennerberg, from Wennerberg Kreativ4you and member of the BLING-project local support group attended the conference. CordaCon took place on 23-24 october 2019 in London.

They have written a small account that shares some of the most important insights and lessons of the conference. For one, the focus of the conference was still very much on financial matters and crypto currencies. There were some interesting discussions about other ways to use blockchain, for example for elections. The use cases that were discussed that are (probably) most relevant for governments are real estate registers, patient records and e-voting systems.

You can read their findings here.
