INFRASense Kickoff Event

The new SmartCycling project INFRASense invites you to its digital kick-off event on Wednesday, 19th of January 2022, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Based on bike sensor technology and a citizen science concept, the project is aiming at the development of a data driven assessment methodology of the bicycle infrastructure to support cities in bicycle traffic planning and cycling promotion.

Besides of citizen engagement, this project is built up on collaboration with stakeholders from administration, urban and transport planning as well as business in order to include as many different perspectives as possible. A lot of open bicycle data will be newly created that could also be part of the CyclingDataHub.

The kick-off event will be hosted by the City of Oldenburg and the Oldenburg Energy Cluster OLEC e.V.

The language of instruction will be German.

At part of this event you will learn more about the INFRASense approach, the project consortium which includes the BITS Partners University of Oldenburg (Department of Business Informatics VLBA) and Baron Mobility, and you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise and discuss with the project team.
