Shipley Canal Road Corridor / New Line improvement
The Canal Road Greenway and a revitalised Bradford Beck water course running from Bradford city centre to Shipley will deliver a multi-functional green corridor helping to enhance biodiversity and ecological networks and provide a high quality setting for walking, cycling, sport and recreation along the Corridor.
As one of the four Urban Eco Settlements in the Leeds City Region, the corridor’s strategic location for new development will make a significant contribution to the regeneration of the District.
Together with the Harrogate Road / New Line improvement it will provide major improvements to key transport corridors in the Bradford area.
