Since 2019 the BEESPOKE project aimed to enhance and improve the resources for pollinators in agricultural landscapes.

After 4 years of inspiring collaborations, new research insights and active support of pollinators and farmers, the project has come to an end in June 2023.

In this final edition of our magazine we present some of our main project recommendations, research insights and outputs.

RESEARCH INSIGHTS

Highlights of our latest research including the potential of cup-plant, relation between pollinators and different crops, biodiversity benefits of hawthorn, farmer’s costs and benefits of seed mix adoption and how to scale out innovative solutions.

PREDICTIVE TOOLS

Introducing the BEESPOKE tools (1) to calculate the expected pollination service and effect of a flower for a specific crops and (2) to select wildflower seeds to support the bee species that will pollinate your crop.
