Save the date: North Sea Conference 2021

23 April 2021 - Published by Lise Espersen

Together with the North Sea Commission, Flanders Region and the Province of West Flanders, we are delighted to announce the dates for a 'physical' North Sea Conference 2021.

The event will take place on 23-25 November in Brugge.

Remember to save the date for this conference where you will learn more about the latest policy developments and new North Sea Region Programme and North Sea Region 2030 Strategy.

You can look forward to a number of side events taking place in connection to the North Sea Conference on 24 November, including a capitalisation event on 23 November, an Interwork event on 25 November for the North Sea Region Programme as well as the Annual Business Meeting and a Youth meeting of the North Sea Commission on 23 November.

We will also make sure that there is ample time provided for networking, meeting new partners and connecting to existing contacts.

Since it still might be challenging to travel within Europe in the autumn, we are looking into different hybrid conference solutions so that you can follow parts of the event from home if you are unable to attend in person.

Whatever restrictions apply, we will make sure you can join in and we look very much forward to seeing you, online or face to face.

NB: A final decision will be made in June about whether to continue planning for a physical conference or to plan for a virtual conference instead, depending on the Covid situation.
