North Sea Conference 2020: Save the date
The next North Sea Conference is in the pipeline and will take place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The City of Rotterdam and the Province of South Holland have kindly offered to host the event jointly with the North Sea Commission. As usual, the North Sea Region Programme supports the conference planning and implementation. In November, the organisers convened at a productive planning meeting in Rotterdam.
In addition to visiting possible venues and discussing conference contents, we were excited to learn more about Rotterdam. Did you know that the Port of Rotterdam is the busiest port in Europe? Located on the North Sea coast, the city is criss-crossed by rivers and canals, and water taxis are available for city transport.
Mark your calendar
It has now been decided to organise the next North Sea Conference in Rotterdam during the week 22-26 June 2020, so please mark your calendars for this key annual event! More information about the event and how to register will be provided in due course.
