Help improve EU climate policy and action
As Europe remains in the grip of the corona crisis, the European Commission is not only mobilising support to deal with it directly. It is also moving forward to realise the EU Green Deal and build environmental and economic resilience.
On 20 May, the Commission launched an ambitious new Biodiversity Strategy and a Farm to Fork Strategy for sustainable food production.
In addition, two public consultations on European climate policy and action are now open:
- The new EU Climate Pact aims to engage citizens in adopting and scaling up solutions. This is contributing to meeting the Green Deal's ambition to make Europe the world’s first climate-neutral continent by 2050.
- The EU is updating its climate adaptation policy to deal more effectively with the growing threat of climate imapcts.
You can now share your ideas and opinions through the open consultations.Your contribution will help to shape strong, smart European climate policy and action frameworks.
