Get involved in the North Sea Conference 2016
The North Sea Conference 2016 offers a number of 20 minute workshop sessions. Some are hosted by the North Sea Region Programme and North Sea Commission but for the majority of the sessions, project developers will be given the floor. Here is why you should take the floor – and how.
Why host a workshop?
If you are already involved in a project, consider hosting a workshop to share your thoughts, initial findings and plans with key stakeholders and policy makers from the entire North Sea Region. This will give you a head start on bringing new stakeholders into your project and effectively communicating your project.
Developing a new project for the North Sea Region? Then hosting a workshop is a great opportunity to share your ideas, get input from your peers and broaden your partnership.
Planning your workshop
The best workshops are usually the ones with a clear aim, and which are well-prepared, interactive and focused on providing value for the participants. Workshops could be structured around a 10 minute presentation and 10 minute open discussion. Other formats are welcome as long as they include active involvement of the workshop participants.
