01 October 2019 - Published by Lise Espersen

In just under a week from now, the European Week of Region of Regions and Cities 2019 activities will be kicking off in Brussels. Running since 2003 and with a visitor number of 6,700 participants from 79 countries in 2018, the organisers are once again ready for a packed and fun-filled four day event.

We are delighted to be part of a number of workshops at the event showcasing the success of transnational cooperation and more specifically involving several North Sea Region projects.

The 2IMPRESZ project, has been selected together with seven other projects from nearly 40 submissions as finalists in this years Interreg Project Slam hosted by Interact. 2IMPRESZ has several minutes to capture the audiences attention with a lively presentation and performance about the project. A live voting round will proceed this process and a winner and runners up chosen.

The PARTIDGE and 2IMPRESZ projects will also be active in a panel as part of a workshop being organised by the Interreg North West Europe programme entitled, the future of transnational cooperation: what impact in a changing Europe?.  The projects will be represented at round tables discussing Interreg transnational cooperation perspectives on energy efficiency and risk management.

Finally, if you are attending the event don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Interreg stand which will be showcasing and celebrating cooperation #MadeWithInterreg in the exhibition area. This stand will celebrate all cooperation across the EU and beyond – through Cross-border, Transnational, Interregional cooperation.
