Call 3 in facts and figures

By the close of call 3 Wednesday 1 February, we received a total of 21 full applications.

Contrary to call 2 where both expressions of interest and full applications could be submitted, call 3 was open for full applications with an approved expression of interest only. The final count following the closure of call 3 shows that 21 full applications where submitted.

Breakdown of applications received
Priority 1, Thinking growth, received the most applications, with 7 out of 21 full applications. Priority 2, Eco-innovation, received 4 applications and priority 3, Sustainable North Sea Region as well as priority 4, Green transport and mobility received 5 applications each.

Next steps
Our project advisors will now go through all submissions and make their recommendations to the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee will meet in June to decide upon which full applications should be approved.

Future calls
Call 4 will be open for new expressions of interest only. A preparation phase has begun and runs until the call opens 30 June 2017. Submissions must be made by 28 August 2017 and will be decided upon in November 2017 by the Steering Committee.

Next call for full applications
Call 5, will be open from January 2018 to March 2018. Only approved expressions of interest will be invited to submit a full application. The Steering Committee decides upon the submitted applications in June 2018. The timeline following call 5 is to be determined.
