Brexit and its impact on projects: Revised Q&A
With the transition period following the UK’s exit from the EU ending on 31 December, North Sea Region Programme project beneficiaries might have questions on the effects of this on projects that continue into 2021 and beyond.
As agreed in the Withdrawal Agreement, projects will be able to continue in this programme period as planned -even those that continue with implementation after 2020. British lead beneficiaries can still make changes to their project under the current programme rules, and UK beneficiaries are eligible to bid for further funding during this programme period.
In cooperation with the UK government we have drafted some questions and answers on practical matters with regards to project management, execution and reporting. You can find the updated Q&A here.
If you have additional concerns or questions, do not hesitate to get in touch with the UK National Contact Point, Sam Moores or with your project advisor at the Joint Secretariat.
