UK's departure from the EU

04 February 2020 - Published by Lise Espersen

The UK formally left the European Union at the end of January 2020 with a deal.  In practice this means that UK partners and Lead Partners will continue to deliver their projects in the 2014-2020 Programme period as planned. There will be no changes for UK partners or Lead Partners of North Sea Region projects for the remaining part of this programming period.

A letter from the Ministry of Housing Communities & Local Government has been sent to all UK project partners confirming this and explaining that projects will go on as originally anticipated. You can read the letter here

You are welcome to pose questions about the UK's departure from the EU and view any future updates from Ministry of Housing Communities & Local Government and European Commission on a separate webpage, which can be accessed here.

We are well aware that this has been a difficult period for all involved and we would like to thank all of you for your patience.
