A first for everything

29 April 2015 - Published by Rikke Sørensen
There is a first time for everything. 27 April was a big day of “firsts” with the launch of the first call, new website and online monitoring system.

With a record number of project ideas submitted in March and April, the opening of the first call for applications of the 2014 – 2020 programme had certainly been awaited.

From the morning of 27 April, eager project developers searching for first call details found them on the new programme website. And with 3,500+ page views on the new website that day, it proved to be a successful day of firsts.

Positive attention was also given to the new online monitoring system, which will now handle everything from project applications, reporting, changes and first level control designation to day-to-day communication with the secretariat. Several users have already taken the opportunity to register and upload project ideas.

The next “first” will be the publishing of a new project idea database for partner search, which is currently under development. An update on this will follow, but in the meantime project ideas submitted before 20 April are available in our old project idea section here.
