You can now register to participate in the #EURegionsWeek! This is Europe's largest gathering for regional development, with over 9,000 participants attending last year.

This year, due to the Covid-19 crisis, the event is almost entirely virtual. It has been extended to three weeks packed with exciting online sessions that you can attend from anywhere. Each week has its own theme:

  • 5-9 October: Empowering Citizens
  • 12-16 October: Cohesion and cooperation
  • 19-22 October: Green Europe, in cooperation with the Green Week

The deadline to choose between the 500 online events and register is 27 September.

Three North Sea projects up for awards

This year, three North Sea Region projects are nominated for awards that will announced at the EURegionsWeek.

On top of this, the popular Interreg Project Slam 2020 features two North Sea Region finalists: SalFar and Inno-Quarter. With its focus on storytelling, the slam is sure to provide you with an entertaining experience. If you have never attended the slam before, now is your chance to do so!

Other North Sea Region projects will showcase their experience, too. For example, Indu-Zero will host the session "mass future proof home renovations", while the session "developing pathways for the circular economy" features CircNSR. BITS is hosting the session "SMART cycling will help to meet the Green Deal target".
