Help us shape the future programme

The public consultation on the North Sea Region Programme 2021-2027 opens today.

Are you interested in how EU funding of transnational cooperation can create a greener, more vibrant and resilient North Sea Region?

Then please take this opportunity to share your thoughts and help us build a robust, forward-looking programme by filling in a survey designed to capture your knowledge and perspectives.

We hope to receive inputs from a broad range of stakeholders on such questions as: Which themes and topics should be covered in the future programme? In your opinion, which project designs and approaches should be enabled?

Your inputs matter

The Secretariat will analyse the responses and present the outcomes in a report. Together with other inputs, the stakeholder feedback will inform the work of the Programme Preparation Group set up by the participating countries to develop the new programme.

To this end, we are extremely interested in gathering all views and thoughts. There is no guarantee that any specific suggestion will be adopted in the final programme; however, you can rest assured that your input will be taken into consideration.

Share your thoughts

To join the consultation, head over to our survey. It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete it, depending on the level of detail you choose to provide.

The consultation remains open until end of business on 30 September.

The next steps

The programming process will continue through the end of this year, and the final draft programme is expected to be submitted to the member countries in the early part of 2021. The survey outcomes will be presented to the Programme Preparation Group.

After the summer break, the Joint Secretariat plans to offer two online events presenting the preliminary and final results of the consultation, respectively. To follow the process and engage in discussions, please join our LinkedIn Stakeholder Exchange Group.
