Headmasters from local high schools in Sønderborg gathered at a steering committee meeting for 2IMPREZS project partner House of Science. The University of Southern Denmark seized the opportunity and talked about 2IMPREZS.

When Danish 2IMPREZS partner House of Science (HoS) held one of it’s four annual steering committee meetings in late May, all high school principals from Sønderborg were present.

At the Mads Clausen Institute (MCI)/SDU, the principals are part of the committee and were naturally present to talk about HoS matters, including the HoS engagement in 2IMPREZS. The MCI considers these high school principals as important stakeholders for the high school initiative, and workshop package, which the MCI has launched with 2IMPREZS.

Thus, the scene was already set with 2IMPREZS and the moment was opportune for a presentation of the high school workshop package.

Lise Kanstrup, project manager for 2IMPREZS from the Mads Clausen Institute, presented the four workshops, which together form the workshop package.

The high school principals received the information well, and expressed interest in promoting the workshops internally to science high school teachers. First, the MCI will finish the teaching material and when the next school year starts, the work to get science teachers involved will continue.
