On Friday 26 January 2018, 500 students from more than 30 different Dutch schools gathered in Groningen for the Energy Challenges kick-off.
The students are ‘energizers’ of their school, this means that they represent their school in the project and elaborate a campaign at school to motivate their co-students to save energy and carbon emissions.
The energizers from each school have made a short introduction movie to engage the other students, and a compilation of movies was shown at the event.
Furthermore students attended different workshops such as ‘Create a Banner’, ‘The Energy Challenge Rap Song’, ‘Static Electricity’ or ‘Young Researchers’.
Several 2IMPREZS Project Partners attended the festive meeting as inspiration to get started with the challenge in their own region and to discuss and further elaborate the transnational approach.
