Connecting the region for sustainable growth
This year's North Sea Conference in Göttingen looks at how to better interconnect the region for sustainable growth.
- What are the best ways to overcome digital and physical connectivity challenges?
- How can we accelerate the green economy for the benefit of the region's 60 million citizens?
- How can the North Sea Region brace itself for the inevitable impacts of climate change?
The conference will explore all of these issues and more. In addition, the future of regional cooperation in the North Sea Region will be in focus.
The conference is jointly hosted by the North Sea Commission and Germany. It is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, the German Federal States of Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein, the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, and the German Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development.
During the conference, the North Sea Region Programme will host an Interwork event for those seeking to submit expressions of interest for participation in the next round of project applications.
