The Danish Coastal Authority hosted an internal FRAMES workshop in Lemvig, Denmark on February 5th to 6th together with partners from Kent County Council, England and HZ University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands.

The workshop mainly focused on Adaptive planning in regards to climate change in coastal regions and in particular the method of Dynamic Adaptive Policy Pathways (DAPP) in combination with backcasting. The aim of the workshop was to develop an understanding of the underlying principles of DAPP as well as how to apply the method in cooperation with key stakeholders. The workshop also touched upon data sourcing and an analysis of how to alter the method to context of different countries.            One of the outputs of the workshop was a first draft of a step-by-step guide to an adaptive planning approach that will be tested in FRAMES in two of the Danish Coastal Authority’s pilot sites.
